Our speech-language pathologists conduct speech, language, and voice evaluations and provide treatment for a full range of disorders related to:

delayed speech and language

hearing loss

stuttering

articulation difficulties

cleft palate

voice problems, including those caused by nodules, polyps, & other vocal
cord conditions

neurological speech disorders, such as aphasia, dysarthria

swallowing disorders-dysphagia

Diagnostic Audiology Services

Our audiologists specialize in prevention, identification, assessment, and rehabilitation of hearing disorders. We do audiological testing for:

Infants and Children

Specialized assessment including sound-field, middle ear measurement,
VRA, COR, brain-stem evoked response audiometry, and otoacoustic
emissions

Adults

Hearing, balance, and CNS disorders are assessed with the following
special tests:

comprehensive audiological testing

site-of-lesion assessment

middle ear measurement

electronystagmography (ENG)

otoacoustic emissions

auditory evoked potentials (BSER audiometry)

visual evoked potentials (VER)

Hearing Aid Dispensing

Our audiologists prescribe/dispense hearing aids and instruct individuals with
hearing loss in the use of hearing aids. Our offices have technical equipment
for the fitting, repair, and adjustment of hearing/amplification devices.

Among the services available:

The fitting of hearing aids for children and adults, inclluding
-refinement of settings
-counseling on benefits and limits of amplification
-earmold impressions for hearing aids, swim molds, noise attenuation,
and FM systems
